Experience in church leadership
I am a member of Grace Evangelical Church in Morton, IL, affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches. Formal involvements in the church include my working there as a counselor and my role as a teacher of Bible studies and adult Sunday school. In a less formal way I help out with children’s ministries and have a general role as a pastor’s wife.
Why I want to serve church leaders and their families
When serving as a missionary, I was helped by counseling services. I know from my own experience some of the unique pressures and problems that ministers and missionaries encounter. Because of my love for God’s Kingdom I want to have a part in caring for His workers. My experiences in both ministry and counseling make this possible.
